Test Methodology. I'll put this here for others to duplicate and so when I add some more graphs I can remember what I did :) All of these runtime Graphs are produced with the following equipment. Fluke 189 Data Logging DMM Tecpel (Meterman) LM631 Lightmeter The Fluke 189 is connected to the LM631's mV output with a homemade test cable. The range on this mV output is actually greater than the meters own built in digital display. With the LM631 showing O.L. the Fluke still reads the sensor data correctly. Also the Fluke 189 has a greater display resolution. Testing is achieved by attatching the torch to be tested onto the shelf in my wardrobe with a couple of small clamps. The lightmeter sensor is then placed exactly 1m below it. I then move the sensor to get the highest reading possible. The test is then started with the Fluke 189 set to log a reading between 15 seconds to 5 minutes depending on the expected duration of the test. The Fluke can take upto 995 readings in one test.
