Test Methodology. I'll put this here for others to duplicate and so when I add some more shots I can remember what I did :)

Camera Settings.
Canon 1D MKII RAW Canon EF 2.5 50mm Macro f2.5 1/320 ISO 400
Camera used in Manual mode, Lightmeter settings set for average centre weighted metering, then tested with the brightest torch to give the above settings. Settings then left the same for all lights to give a true comparative set of shots. Pics converted from RAW to medium (800x600) sized JPG's.

Distance to Target 1660mm Distance to centre of target from the floor 1130mm
Camera lens aligned with the centre of the target.
All torches held on the left hand side of the camera as near as possible to the camera body in line with the film plane.

The test target is cobbled together at work by drawing it out in AutoCad the plotting it out on a sheet of A1 paper which is 841mm x 594mm.

These settings seem to work OK for the brighter 1Watt to 5Watt lights used here, the ARC AA struggles and I will probably do a different set of charts for the lower powered lights.

The flat battery tests are an accident. I thought I had some problems after looking at the downloaded photos. I will do these lights again with new cells when I get chance, but thought I would leave the pics here as a useful reference.
